Last month I really enjoyed reading a collection of thoughts from the great Mr. Fred Rodgers of Mister Rodgers Neighborhood. The book is called, The World According to Mister Rodgers and here are my reading notes:
Solitude is not loneliness

An emotional archaeologist searches for the roots of behavior
Happiness comes when we link our work with our dreams
The real disabilities are those who can’t find fulfillment in their lives or who live with bitterness and disappointment

Yesterday we discussed the four stages of learning from the book, Servant Leadership in Action by Ken Blanchard and Renee Broadwell. The book is a collection of writings from well known authors, and I don’t know who the source of the four stages of learning is, however, the same person gave insight on how leaders are to enable this type of transition.  
Leadership styles need to evolve from:
Directing in the Novice Stage to
Coaching in the Apprentice Stage to
Supporting in the Journeyman Stage to
Delegating in the Master Teacher Stage
We will share more from this book as the final season continues next week, next month, next quarter.

In the book, Servant Leadership in Action by Ken Blanchard and Renee Broadwell, they write about the four stages of learning. I’ve been toying around with the idea of a learning spectrum where it goes from learning to understanding to fully understanding. So when I read this in the book it really stood out.
The book is a collection of writings from well known authors. I don’t know who the source of the four stages of learning is, however, still wanted to share:

Novice to
Apprentice to
Journeyman to
Master Teacher

Don’t hide from the truth you need to hear
There is no ideal behavior
If you can receive it, you can achieve it
Monetize the result, create a solution.
