We call this the bait and switch. What do customers do about it? Nothing. So the bait and switch grows with businesses who are trying to make their statement to the world.

Resilience is a noun and defined as: 
the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.
the ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape; elasticity.
There is a fine line between resiliency and not letting go. When you can't let go it's a bad thing. When you never give up, it's a good thing.  Understanding the differences will show others (through your actions) just how resilient you are. When others see how resilient you are, it will result in increased opportunities and earnings.  You got it? Yeah, you got it; now go get it.

Over the weekend I had to run the clock for the High School Football playoffs. Since it was my first time, I was a little nervous. The white hat (referee) told me to do add three minutes after the ten-minute halftime.  As halftime expired I noticed both teams were ready to play and the officials were ready to officiate. Yet, the referee told me to add three minutes to the end of the ten-minutes. I ignored my instinct (reading the room) and added three minutes. The referee waved his hands and furiously shook his head so I put ten minutes up for the third quarter to start.  I read the room which contradicted what I was told. When faced with this type of situation, always lean towards doing what you were told.  Even when the room screams otherwise.
